Blaze a New Path This Spring Semester
Each year, more than 100 students apply for roughly 30 spots in our spring class. These students often are older, have tried college, and perhaps have not found the “right fit.” Maybe they applied to Beacon in the past or are hearing about Beacon for the first time. Regardless of the reason, the demand for our hands-on academic environment and competition to enter our spring semester cohort continues to rise. Given the national retention and success rates for students, combined with Beacon’s commitment to the whole student experience, we are seeing nearly a 30% increase in applications already this year.
What does this mean? For students interested in joining us this January, it means completing your application as soon as possible! We will accept rolling admission until the spring cohort is full.

What Makes Beacon Unique?
Most classes at Beacon are only 12-14 students, and some are even less. Develop relationships and lifelong connections with faculty who know you personally and are invested in your success.
Our expert faculty are trained and experienced working with students who learn differently. Your professors deliver accessible, multi-modal learning experiences to your learning style, in and out of the classroom.
All students have access to academic and personal support resources — 100% included in the cost of tuition! Accommodations like assistive technology, calculators, electronic lecture notes (and many more) are all provided automatically without additional paperwork or hoops to jump through.
Beacon’s model of academic advising includes built-in executive functioning support through our Center for Student Success. Students meet with their learning specialist (advisor) weekly in their first semester, and this support is scaled back throughout your time at Beacon to help prepare you for increasingly independent success.
We’re committed to providing the on- and off-campus experiences that make your college life memorable. From USCAA basketball to study abroad in London, Tokyo or Tuscany, we’re providing endless opportunities for you to blaze your path.
Beacon’s location in Central Florida, a short distance from Orlando, is of great benefit to our students seeking internships and work experience with major corporations and employers. A few of our career experience partners include Disney, Jet Blue, Southwest, SeaWorld, and JP Morgan, and more.
Plus, personalized attention from Career Preparation staff specialized in your major will help you find the right opportunities for success after Beacon.
